CAS(E) this Sketch and Colour Q

I really wanted to add rhinestones to this but thought about all the masculine birthday cards I struggle with and decided to leave the rhinestones off.

Card stock: raspberry ripple, whisper white, bermuda bay
Ink: island indigo, lucky limeade
Stamp set(s): mosaic madness, teeny tiny wishes
Challenges: CAS(E) this Sketch and Colour Q

Mojo Monday, Color Q, and Late Night Stampers

I made this card using the Mojo Monday sketch, the Colour Q pallet, and the Late Night Stampers challenge of masculine. The Feeling Sentimental set seems to be my go to set for masculine cards.

Colour Q #177

SAMSUNGAt first I had a hard time with this color challenge from Colour Q.  I just saw the Always Artichoke and the Cherry Cobbler and had a hard time getting past the Christmas colors.  I am really pleased.  In fact, I found out yesterday that my daughter would be moving up classes at her day care and decided to use this card for her teacher to say Thank You.  I wrote the card and sealed it in an envelope then realized that I forgot to take a picture of it for my blog…oops.  So I ripped open the envelope, took a picture, and put it in a new envelope.  🙂

Freshly Made #73 and Colour Q #176

I used the Freshy Made Sketch for my layout.  I turned the circle on the top into a rectangle.  I frequently get stuck on circles, so I typically turn them into rectangles or squares.  I used the Colour Q Challenge for my color choice.  I just discovered this challenge and I love it.  I felt like 5 colors was just too much for me so the only primrose petals in this card is in the middle flower…but I feel like I found a way to make it work. 🙂
