I used the Mojo Monday Sketch and selected the colors using the Create with Connie and Mary challenge. But, I made a slight mistake…the Create with Connie and Mary challenge is Stampin’ Up Only and I used the chipboard cutout from Close to my Heart…oops! But I do like the way the chipboard scalloped oval looks, so I’m not going to change it; I just won’t link up to their challenge this week. 😦
This card is for one of my co-workers that I share a birthday with next week. When I saw the sentiments in the ‘One in a Million’ set, I just knew I would have to mix and match the sentiments in this way for her. I find myself very funny, even if I’m the only one. I used The Paper Players color challenge #132 to select the colors (love the 2012-2014 in colors) and the Seize the Birthday sketch challenge #5 for the layout. I’m petty pleased with myself with this one. 🙂
I loved this sketch, from CAS(E) This Sketch #14 challenge, the second I saw it, but it came to making this card, I got stuck. In fact, I’m still not in love with this card. But I know the person it is going to will love it. This is going to one of my friends who JUST found out she is pregnant with her 2nd baby. They’ve been trying for a few months. I’m so excited for her! I don’t know if you can see it, but I popped up one of the little ‘starburst’ from the DSP to add a little something extra.
A fluttering birthday card make using Retro Sketch #49.
I instantly fell in love with this week’s Paper Players #130 sketch! It was so easy to make it CAS which, is really my style.
